It is reported that Vietnamese SPFH590 steel producer Hoa Phat is currently constructing a $3 billion Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 steel production consortium in the province of Kuai Chi. It is expected that after the project is completed and put into operation next year, the crude steel production capacity of Hoa Phat will increase from the current 8.5 million tons/year to 14 million tons/year. By 2025, the company will be among the top 30 steel producers in the world.
At the same time, He Fa SPFH590 steel Huan plans to launch a large-scale project in central Vietnam's Fuan Province and is considering building an emerging steel consortium. Mysteel learned that according to the memorandum of understanding signed between Hefa and relevant departments in the province, the steel giant plans to invest approximately 12 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 4.8 billion US dollars) to build three major projects: Baidong Port, Hefa Steel Consortium, and Hetan Industrial Park. It is expected that after completion, it will create 20000 jobs for the province and contribute 10 trillion Vietnamese dong (400 million US dollars) per year to the province's economy SPFH590 steel.
